Olive and Cream Cheese Tea Sandwiches

So I'm not sure we can even pretend these are healthy...mayonnaise, cream cheese, olives, and white bread...not exactly the lunch of champions. But...so what?! They're the ideal picnic sandwich, or for serving at your next high tea. Everyone is impressed with fancy finger sandwiches with the crusts cut off.

And don't you DARE try to make these on healthy bread. Just no. This type of sandwich absolutely requires the whitest of white bread - mostly air and devoid of nutritional value. Believe me, you'll thank us.

Olive and Cream Cheese Tea Sandwiches

time: 10 minutes
servings: 5 sandwiches

  • 12 oz cream cheese
  • 4 Tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 1/2 cups green olives with pimentos, chopped
  • slices of white bread
  1. Pat olives dry so you don't mix their oil with the filling.
  2. Combine cream cheese and mayonnaise.
  3. Add olives and stir to combine.
  4. Spread generous amounts on bread, create sandwich, and cut off all crust.
  5. Serve!

Salty goodness ready to go
