Two Paws Up Pasta
Pasta is always a good idea. Especially when your local grocery store has recently had a sale and you now have a pantry packed with pasta. This pasta dish is hearty and full of flavor! And guess what? It's not even hard.
Not only did the humans who tasted it love it, but one of Katrina's cats had a sneaky sample from one of the kids. She gave it two paws up - now you know you have to try it when it bears the kitty seal of approval.

Asiago Pasta
time: 30 minutesservings: 6
Ingredients:
- 12 oz pasta
- 8 oz sun-dried tomatoes, chopped, plus oil from jar
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 3 chicken breasts, chopped
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 2 1/2 cups half and half
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 cups asiago cheese, shredded
- 2 cups frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained
Directions:
- Cook pasta according to package directions; drain and set aside.
- Meanwhile, heat tomatoes, oil, and garlic over medium heat for 2 minutes.
- Add chopped chicken and season with paprika and a sprinkle of salt.
- Cook chicken until it is cooked through.
- Add half and half and salt and bring to a boil.
- Add cheese and stir until melted.
- Add pasta and spinach to sauce. Stir over heat for two minutes.
- Serve and garnish with parmesan cheese if desired.
